About Me
- Joan
- I have always participated in the visual arts including watercolors, drawing and sketching, pen and ink, and photography. Since retiring from teaching I have devoted much of my time to watercolors, sometimes combining them with pen and ink or collage. Watercolor is the perfect medium to capture the beauty that surrounds us. I love to travel, and sketch and paint wherever I go. Painting, especially on location, captures the spirit and life of the subject. I hope to continue doing that for a long time to come.

This is so wonderful people scene Joan. I saw it on the WDE too and you did great in simplify the number of people. You do have a great knack on the street scene and landscape.
Ai - Thanks. I love market scenes and would love to paint something like this in plein air.
