Bowling Sketches

Last night I met fellow artists, Susan and Roseanne from the Patchogue Sketch Club, at Bowl Long Island at Patchogue for a evening of sketching. It isn't so easy to catch the movements of the bowlers...those waiting for their turn were much easier. It was fun!

Maui Grown

Wednesday I met another member of the Patchogue Sketch Club at the Roast Coffee and Tea Trading Company in Patchogue. With the cold weather is seems like there are only two of us who show up consistently to sketch. They were roasting coffee beans in their new roaster, so the bags of beans were out. This is 3 x 5.

Patchogue Theatre

This past year I joined two local plein air groups. This painting of the Patchogue Theatre was done last week when I went out with the Patchogue Sketch Club on a Wednesday evening. Our location was right on the main street in the town of Patchogue. We were interviewed by the Patchogue Patch a few weeks ago at one of our sketch sites and here is a link to the article.
