"Scattykat" is hosting this week's WDE on WetCanvas with references from her trip to Paris. Of course I plan on doing more than one, but I had to start with this one from Monet's Garden. When I was there in September, the wisteria wasn't in bloom. This is 4 x 6 done in watercolors and ink. Kat, thanks for the great photos.

Joan it's lovely. Great colors. Have a great weekend.
absolutely FANTASTIC!! I LOVE how you did this!!! soft -- so very Monet-ish!
I have a wisteria tree growing in my front yard, though it will have yellow blooms one day. It is still pretty tiny but more leaves this year than last (which is when I first planted it). I love the graceful droop of these blossoms. This painting is beautiful Joan...and I'd say you've done Monet's Garden quite proud!
Joan - Thanks so much.
Lin - I think Monet's Garden is still in my blood. Thanks.
Sherry - You are too kind. I love wisteria but I never knew there are yellow blossoms too.
