About Me
- Joan
- I have always participated in the visual arts including watercolors, drawing and sketching, pen and ink, and photography. Since retiring from teaching I have devoted much of my time to watercolors, sometimes combining them with pen and ink or collage. Watercolor is the perfect medium to capture the beauty that surrounds us. I love to travel, and sketch and paint wherever I go. Painting, especially on location, captures the spirit and life of the subject. I hope to continue doing that for a long time to come.

SO WONDERFUL!!!!! I'LL BE RIGHT THERE FOR ONE OF THOSE LUSCIOUS GINGERBREAD FELLOWS --- AND THE CAROLERS --- TERRIFIC! GREAT JOB, JOAN! WE HAD ANOTHER BRIEF DUSTING OF SNOW!!!
Really a very nice group of paintings. I haven't really looked thru the journal section of WC. you could do some candy canes, ornaments, star with many points, ribbon candy with certain amount of curves, holly with number of berries, number of candles, string of Christmas lights, string of popcorn, snowmen (unless they have to be from life0, Christmas stockings, Cookies on a plate for Santa, and bulbs.
these make me smile. Keep 'em coming.
yum, count me in on the gingerbread persons, sweeet painting. Only just found the december journal challenge on the journal forum today. Would love to have a go but don't think I have time. Love yer entries for this :-)
