Bridge at the Lake

This is 7 x 10 and was painted at Hecksher Park in Huntington, Long Island. The lake is man-made with a couple of nice stone bridges. I caught the swan passing by. He was on his way back to sit with and protect the female swan who was sitting on their eggs.

Absolutely lovely, Joan -- peaceful, serene, wonderful colors and water and reflections -- perfect for a summer's day!! Super job!

Thanks, Lin. I think Joanne's thread made me really focus on reflections. This was a perfect, peaceful spot!

This is so beautiful Joan. I love your reflection and the shadow on the water underneath the stone bridge. What a delightful scene, well painted.
