Greenport Porch

This 7 x 10 watercolor was done in Greenport at the end of Long Island's North Fork. At one time this was called "The White Lion Inn" but is now a private home. Either way it looks like a nice place to sit in the shade and watch the world pass by.

This is a nice place to be for sure, at least in your painting. :)

Very nice. I wonder if each room has its own bath. It would be nice but not when cleaning time came. Very pretty job you did.

What a terrific painting, Joan!!!! What an inviting place!!! I love the colors and the shade and flowers -- it's so beautifull done! I hope you're spending some relaxing time on that cool, shady porch -- an iced glass of tea in hand ....!!!

Jo - Thanks. I think it is a nice place to be in a fun little town.

Jeanne - You're right about the baths. lol I always wanted to see inside. I guess I missed my chance. Thanks.

Lin - lol I was sitting on the steps of a business across the street in the sun. Not quite as relaxing. Thanks.
