This was painted on the north fork of Long Island. It is a small flower stand tucked in along a road filled with wineries and farmland. This is 4 x 6 and was painted from the front seat of my car. I've learned that it is safer to paint from the car there, than to sit in a chair out in the open. There are too many trucks speeding along the road.

I too prefer the car to being on the side of the road .. This is grandly done, Joan .... love the soft touch to the flowers especially!
