It has taken me a while to get to upload these. I have more to post, but found out that if I take the photos in landscape form, I can not turn them around so you can see them. I also can not adjust the color so the way the photos come out is the way they will be. lol
The painting on the left is Burano, where they make lace. I love the colorful buildings there. I felt like I was walking through sherbert colors. The painting on the right is Venice (as if you did not know).
I will try to post more in a few days. Now I will quickly visit a few blogs. Ciao!

Oh my goodness, Joan! Both of these are stunning paintings! What a fabulous trip you must be having. I love seeing these two locations through your eyes. The canal water is beautifully done, as is the perspective of the bridge itself. I find myself wishing I could live in that beautiful building behind the bridge with the flowers at every window! Breathtaking! And I also find myself wondering why there is not lace at every window in the top piece!! LOL What treasures these two pieces will be for your home!

WONDERFUL!!! BELLA! BELLA! BELLA! Oh I love seeing Venice thru your brushes, Joan! And I love the one of Burano ---- you must be having one wonderful time -- I am green with envy and wish I could be there too! BRAVA! MORE MORE!

Many thanks everyone!!!
I'm a little late to the page seeing that you are already back! I love Venice and I had that same feeling while strolling the canals of Burano. I had a lively conversation with an old man there about his colorful town. These and all that follow are amazing Joan! You captured the feel of Venice and the magic too. Beautiful!
