I can still only upload vertical paintings, since I am not able to rotate the photos I have taken (or crop them) without using another program and time on the computer is limited. The first painting is of San Marco from across the lagoon sitting on the steps of San Giorgio Maggiore. The painting on the right is of a tiny restaurant right by the Rialto fish market. There are so many wonderful views. Ciao!

OMG!! The beauty of Venice through your paintbrush (or twig) is just incredible! I am amazed that you have the details and perspective so wonderfully done while plein air painting! I can tell that you are feeling this art all the way to your bones, while you are creating it. I am so happy for you, to be able to be there and do what you are doing!!! I'll keep a better eye out on your blog for more surprises!!! Wonderful work, Joan!!!!

I didn't expect you to be able to post to the blog, so I haven't looked in here until now. Glad you are able to at least post the vertical ones. Beautiful, as usual.

I could have sworn I commented on this post, but maybe I gazed so long on your beautiful paintings I forgot.

So much fun to see these. You really have captured the feeling of Venice.
