This is 11 x 15 from a reference for the Weekend Drawing Event on WetCanvas. To me it looks like the perfect artist's retreat. I'm planning on moving in. I added the flowers to the bush on the left. I thought it needed a little color.

About Me
- Joan
- I have always participated in the visual arts including watercolors, drawing and sketching, pen and ink, and photography. Since retiring from teaching I have devoted much of my time to watercolors, sometimes combining them with pen and ink or collage. Watercolor is the perfect medium to capture the beauty that surrounds us. I love to travel, and sketch and paint wherever I go. Painting, especially on location, captures the spirit and life of the subject. I hope to continue doing that for a long time to come.

Joan..this looks SO inviting, and I like the great colors you used!!! I've love to stay at a place like this.
It does look very inviting. I'm not sure where it's located. I'd love to paint in a location like that!
Again I really like the foliage. So lush. The rocks are very good. Love the mix of color on the roof.
