I couldn't let the summer go by without trying to capture a boogie boarder in the water while I was there. This is 4 x 6. It wasn't easy to capture him.

About Me
- Joan
- I have always participated in the visual arts including watercolors, drawing and sketching, pen and ink, and photography. Since retiring from teaching I have devoted much of my time to watercolors, sometimes combining them with pen and ink or collage. Watercolor is the perfect medium to capture the beauty that surrounds us. I love to travel, and sketch and paint wherever I go. Painting, especially on location, captures the spirit and life of the subject. I hope to continue doing that for a long time to come.

This really reads well. Peculiar sentence, I know, but it says that the picture conveys what you had in mind because the composition holds together. I know that you know this but I had fun saying it anyways.
