This ATC (2.5 x 3.5) was done in ink & watercolor for a WetCanvas project. I used a reference photo I had taken looking inland in Santa Barbara, California. I love palm trees and terra cotta roofs, so this was a perfect combination of the two subjects.

Rooftops are great, aren't they! I'm working on some rooftops near where I live (very different to this). I want to do a painting, but I need to do some drawings first to get the best angle.

Wendy - Rooftops can be a challenge because depending on the layout of the streets, the perspective changes a lot. It's a good idea to work it out first. Good luck with it.
