My Watch

This 4 x 6 ink and watercolor was done for another WetCanvas exchange that I'm doing..."Vacation/Holiday Dreams." I appreciate all the safety the lifeguards provide to those of us enjoying the beach. I painted this while I was at the beach last week. He looks ready, and strong enough to rescue me!

He certainly looks strong and fit. Your people are getting so good!

And there is that beautiful umbrella. Good job. You are getting quick with the people too. I'm sure he didn't stand there too long. How long do you stay at the beach every day?

Joan, what a lovely scene and the lovely thought of these dedicated people. I can feel his muscles and his readiness to jump in the water. Lovely umbrella too.

Mickey - Thanks. I guess it's all that practice.

Jeanne - Thank you. He did stand there in that pose for quite a while. I'm usually at the beach for about 3-4 hours. Then I come back home and hit the pool in my complex for some exercise.

Ai - Thanks. I thought this was a perfect lifeguard pose with the arms crossed just watching.
