This is an ATC that I did for the WetCanvas exchange. I tried to do it just in watercolor but the corn kernels were crying out for some ink lines, so I gladly added them.

About Me
- Joan
- I have always participated in the visual arts including watercolors, drawing and sketching, pen and ink, and photography. Since retiring from teaching I have devoted much of my time to watercolors, sometimes combining them with pen and ink or collage. Watercolor is the perfect medium to capture the beauty that surrounds us. I love to travel, and sketch and paint wherever I go. Painting, especially on location, captures the spirit and life of the subject. I hope to continue doing that for a long time to come.

Ummmmm. I love Indian corn and this is just beautiful. I also see Anita's blog link here, I haven't visited in ages, so I am popping over. Nice work on this and the last jingle bell!
I love the sketchlines, sometimes they are just a must! Great job on this one.

The corn is just wonderful. I love the colours and the lines. Maybe you should think of doing a big one. It's one of the best things you've done, I think.
