Pot of Zinnias

This is 7 x 10 and was done for the WDE on WetCanvas from a reference by Dewi. I never tried painting a pot like this before and it was really a challenge...not only the design but getting it a deep enough color.

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING, JOAN!! I FEEL AS THOUGH I COULD PICK UP THAT SPLENDID AND DELICATE POT RIGHT FROM THE SCREEN!!! GLORIOUS WORK, MY FRIEND!

I think you really captured that bright light. This could be my front porch in the early morning.

Gorgeous, Joan. You've done an amazing job capturing the Chinese style painting on the pot - that little fish is wonderful. Your flowers sing as well, lovely, lovely work.

Joan, what a fabulous depth, nice shadow, great China pattern on the pot and lovely Zinnia. Bravo.

Robyn - Thanks so much. I almost thought of giving up on this. That pot was so detailed.
