About Me
- Joan
- I have always participated in the visual arts including watercolors, drawing and sketching, pen and ink, and photography. Since retiring from teaching I have devoted much of my time to watercolors, sometimes combining them with pen and ink or collage. Watercolor is the perfect medium to capture the beauty that surrounds us. I love to travel, and sketch and paint wherever I go. Painting, especially on location, captures the spirit and life of the subject. I hope to continue doing that for a long time to come.

This is beautiful. It would make a nice card, too.
A lovely upbeat loose and free painting. My garden is full of weeds.

Jo - Thanks. I painted on a watercolor card as a matter of fact.
Wendy - Thank you. This spot looks great until all the leaves fall off and then all you see are the tree trunks and a fence behind them.
