Canalside Window - ATC

This 2.5 x 3.5 ATC was also done for the WetCanvas project. One of the participants really loves windows and old buildings, so I did this one especially for her. Again I used one of my own photos taken in Venice.

Romantic for sure. Windows are inviting. Nice job on the colors.

Delicious color, and the texture is great. I love these little paintings of yours. They would look so great in a long narrow frame all in a row...if they weren't being sent to various corners of the world, that is.
Nice.

Very nice! I've enjoyed looking at your work.

I wish I had reference pictures from Venice too! :)

I have to say..I'm REALLY liking your combo of watercolors and ink. Have you seen the blog of Terry Banderas...his work is similar!...

Lin - Thank you. Italy has so many romantic places to paint.

Jo - Thanks. I could spend forever doing windows...I mean PAINTING windows. LOL

Tracy - I love that they're going all over the world. I wish I could travel with them. I have photographed each one in it's line drawing stage and then when it's finished in case I want to redo it in the future.

i am - Thanks so much for visiting. I checked your blog and love your quilts.

Holly - Thanks. I just went to Terry's blog. I love his work, and I love the fact that he uses ink & wc on larger pieces. I've never done ink on something larger than 5 x 7.
