This is a watercolor and ink done while in Maine. In fact, this tree is right outside my sister's back door. It is 4 x 6.

About Me
- Joan
- I have always participated in the visual arts including watercolors, drawing and sketching, pen and ink, and photography. Since retiring from teaching I have devoted much of my time to watercolors, sometimes combining them with pen and ink or collage. Watercolor is the perfect medium to capture the beauty that surrounds us. I love to travel, and sketch and paint wherever I go. Painting, especially on location, captures the spirit and life of the subject. I hope to continue doing that for a long time to come.

Wow! Just so very nice and my favorite technique of yours. :)
I think that new inking technique works especially well with the birches. It's perfect for giving them that papery look.
I love trees in art. They have so much character.
