This is one of my favorite places to visit in Maine. Climbing down on the rocks wasn't so easy carrying my backpack, painting chair, and stool. But the views are worth it. Due to the heat and humidity, this is only 4 x 6. I'll have to go back in cooler weather to paint there again.

It was SO hot down there on the rocks, but I'm glad we went. It's one of my favorites too. I love going down on the rocks and looking up at the lighthouse. Your little sketch came out great!
How fantastic, Joan! Your plein air work is simply outstanding! Getting back home can be such a challenge --- Get those paints out, hon, fall is coming! LOL
