This is 11 x 15 and was done from one of the photos I took last year when it snowed. I'm glad I painted it when I did because somehow I lost all the photos I took that day! This was the painting I used for my Christmas card this year.

About Me
- Joan
- I have always participated in the visual arts including watercolors, drawing and sketching, pen and ink, and photography. Since retiring from teaching I have devoted much of my time to watercolors, sometimes combining them with pen and ink or collage. Watercolor is the perfect medium to capture the beauty that surrounds us. I love to travel, and sketch and paint wherever I go. Painting, especially on location, captures the spirit and life of the subject. I hope to continue doing that for a long time to come.
