Thanks to the WDE I am getting more confident at painting portraits. This was done for Valri Ary's WDE which is going on now. It is a photo of her from a cruise she took, and I am really happy with the way it turned out. This is about 6 x 6.

A beautiful job, Joan. I love the oblique point of view and immediately noticed how well you did with the shoulders turned as they are. Love the hair as well and the skin tones are perfection!
