Paris Flowers for Karen

This is 11 x 15 and was done as a gift for my sister-in-law, Karen's, birthday. I combined several of my photos of Paris flower shops and one of my small paintings done in Paris for the composition. Karen is going to Paris in March to celebrate her birthday, so I thought this would give her something to dream about ahead of time.

Hi Joan,
This is so lovely. What a wonderful birthday present. You are inspiring me to get back to my watercolors. There is a 50% off sale in Pearl Paint in Seldon. Closing there does Jan. 23rd. Happy painting.

Joan, you make this look so effortless and I know it's not! Absolutely beautiful. Are you going to make a book of your French watercolours? You certainly should.

She should be thrilled, Joan! What an exceptional work!! LOVE the bright flowers -- the entire scene speaks of France ... SUPERB job!

Joan - Thanks so much! I can't believe they are closing the store...it hasn't been open for that long. I love having it there.

Robyn - Thanks. I don't know about making a book. It would have to have so many pages.

Lin - Thanks so much!! She was really excited when she opened it. I'm sure it will take her forever to decide where to hang it.
