This is another piece I painted at the arboretum on Saturday. It is about 4 x 6.

About Me
- Joan
- I have always participated in the visual arts including watercolors, drawing and sketching, pen and ink, and photography. Since retiring from teaching I have devoted much of my time to watercolors, sometimes combining them with pen and ink or collage. Watercolor is the perfect medium to capture the beauty that surrounds us. I love to travel, and sketch and paint wherever I go. Painting, especially on location, captures the spirit and life of the subject. I hope to continue doing that for a long time to come.

I like the way you composed this one, with only part of the bench showing. Lovely irises.
LOVELY work, Joan .... our irises are about gone, but the daylilies are beginning to bloom ... rain here all weekend and most of the week ..
