I headed to another arboretum yesterday to paint the westeria before it was gone. I think I should have put more of the hanging wisteria into the painting. This is 7 x 10. Maybe I'll go back and try it again.

About Me
- Joan
- I have always participated in the visual arts including watercolors, drawing and sketching, pen and ink, and photography. Since retiring from teaching I have devoted much of my time to watercolors, sometimes combining them with pen and ink or collage. Watercolor is the perfect medium to capture the beauty that surrounds us. I love to travel, and sketch and paint wherever I go. Painting, especially on location, captures the spirit and life of the subject. I hope to continue doing that for a long time to come.

I like it as is, very restful piece. However I can see where you would want more wisteria since that's what you wanted to paint. Ours aren't out yet.
