This was done for last weekend's WDE. I wasn't really happy with the way it came out. I should have stopped when the boy was finished. Doing two people in one painting was too much. lol This is 4 x 6.

About Me
- Joan
- I have always participated in the visual arts including watercolors, drawing and sketching, pen and ink, and photography. Since retiring from teaching I have devoted much of my time to watercolors, sometimes combining them with pen and ink or collage. Watercolor is the perfect medium to capture the beauty that surrounds us. I love to travel, and sketch and paint wherever I go. Painting, especially on location, captures the spirit and life of the subject. I hope to continue doing that for a long time to come.

I think that ol' moon has been playing havoc with us .. but I like this Joan ... cute wee ones!
What a wonderful olde soda shoppe feel to this piece. I think it is very well done, Joan!
Oh, yes, it brings back memories of those days at the soda fountain. What more can you ask of a painting than to reawaken fond memories.
