This is another view of the Fire Island Lighthouse that I posted yesterday. I went back to do this yesterday and sat up on a bird viewing platform so I could see both the Great South Bay and Atlantic Ocean on either side. This is 3 1/2 x 10.

A sophisteekated limpal, production...looks good. I think I short circuited the "spell check"...
I love these long verticals and horizontals you are doing. The lighthouse is perfect for this format.
Hi Joan .... It is absolutely remarkable to watch you grow and to try and keep up with you work
I truly admire your hard work... and love to view your work and feel the enthusiasm .... keep it up
Another great piece to go with the lighthouse postcard set Joan. You manage to cover such a large horizon view into a small size but yet great impact.
GORGEOUS! GORGEOUS! I LOVE THE FOREGROUND, JOAN - IT REALLY MAKES THE LIGHTHOUSE POP!
Joan, I could so easily and wonderfully live here. I think being a lighthouse keeper would be just an awesome job, one always surrounded by beauty and the tempest. Another gorgeous painting!
Ron - Thanks!!! You are too funny.
Mickey - Thanks. Next I'll have to try them a little larger but in the same formats.
Jamila - Thank you so much!!
Ai - Usually when I work this small I end up using pen too. It was hard to resist doing that but I'm glad I did. Thanks.
Lin - Thank you. I just loved the view from up there.
Sherry - Thanks. I just love lighthouses and gravitate to this one because it is so close to me. I'll have to go there at sunset some day and paint it.
