Yesterday I went back to Connetquot State Park to do this painting. The building is actually part of the fish hatchery they have. This is 4 x 6.

- Joan
- I have always participated in the visual arts including watercolors, drawing and sketching, pen and ink, and photography. Since retiring from teaching I have devoted much of my time to watercolors, sometimes combining them with pen and ink or collage. Watercolor is the perfect medium to capture the beauty that surrounds us. I love to travel, and sketch and paint wherever I go. Painting, especially on location, captures the spirit and life of the subject. I hope to continue doing that for a long time to come.

Simply a constant stream of beauty coming from your hands, Joan. I am humbled and awed. Oh to have some modicum of this talent of yours!
FANTASTIC! What a delightful and beautifully done building! And snow! So you still have that much snow?! Wow! We'll lose the ice that still covers the woodland shady spots with rain coming in -- I'd rather have snow!
