This was done for the WDE on WetCanvas this past weekend from a reference by Helen. I didn't know what most of these objects were, but it was fun to paint the metals. This is 4 x 11.

About Me
- Joan
- I have always participated in the visual arts including watercolors, drawing and sketching, pen and ink, and photography. Since retiring from teaching I have devoted much of my time to watercolors, sometimes combining them with pen and ink or collage. Watercolor is the perfect medium to capture the beauty that surrounds us. I love to travel, and sketch and paint wherever I go. Painting, especially on location, captures the spirit and life of the subject. I hope to continue doing that for a long time to come.

WOW! You really did this so well!!
It's overcast and grey here -- damp and yucky --- hope you get out of the house soon, though this still life is fantastic!
Top Shelf is surely top drawer, Joan. Love the garage-like sense to this one...Not one's usual source of inspiration, I am guessing, but it sure works!
