This is another painting I did for the WDE from one of Marianne's photos that I cropped a bit. I used watercolor and ink for this one. It is 4 x 6.

About Me
- Joan
- I have always participated in the visual arts including watercolors, drawing and sketching, pen and ink, and photography. Since retiring from teaching I have devoted much of my time to watercolors, sometimes combining them with pen and ink or collage. Watercolor is the perfect medium to capture the beauty that surrounds us. I love to travel, and sketch and paint wherever I go. Painting, especially on location, captures the spirit and life of the subject. I hope to continue doing that for a long time to come.

Got the situation good! (I can't bring myself to say " A wonderfully captured moment in the children's lives!". It is, but I just can't florate like that. "Florate" verb - to gush, use sentimental language...n. floration, florating from floral or flowery.)Heeee...I had quite a bit of coffee this morning.
