Snowy Landscape III

We had a fresh dusting of snow yesterday, which made the underlying layer of snow look much better. There was even a little bit of snow sitting on the branches of the trees. This is 4 x 6 in my January Journal.

So VERY pretty! We don't get snow here (florida) so I just love seeing it on other people's blogs.

To answer your question about ink drying up in my mister bottles...

Because I used liquid ink rather than watercolor, and alcohol instead of water- drying isn't really a problem for me. The alcohol dissolves any ink that's left on the sprayer with the first spritz. I have kept ink in the misters for months without any issues... however I tend to only mix what I need and use it up so that I can use a different color next time.

I'm going to be a regular at your blog too! Love your work.

Nice snow shadows! You are getting a lot of mileage out of that snowstorm. LOL

This is so pretty! I am always so amazed by the way watercolor can be so transparent yet so full of detail. I moved to California a little over a year ago and escaped this year's 'back east' snow. It's nice to be able to enjoy it again by looking at your paintings!
