Palmed Beach


This was also done for the WDE from one of Valri's references. Yes, I did three for this weekend. This is ATC sized (2.5 x 3.5).

I'm still getting used to the idea of 6x6 I can't imagine any smaller. Beautiful painting. So much wonderful composition on a tiny little space:)

About your comments on my blog -
The watersol ops are by portfolio. Really inexpensive and so much pigment. They work a lot like the neocolor II's but resist further layers of gesso like ops.

heh and yes... I am so very fast when I look at this!~ *heh* 4x speed in places even.

And then about today's video... yes! The Gesso is the trick. It blocks the paint where you've used it and so you get a grabbie effect where it's not. I did something similar in the post about Jasons... with the squares.
