You came to visit me! LOL Well almost. I love the texture and colors you used. it's so vibrant!
About your comments on my blog - The watersol ops are by portfolio. Really inexpensive and so much pigment. They work a lot like the neocolor II's but resist further layers of gesso like ops.
heh and yes... I am so very fast when I look at this!~ *heh* 4x speed in places even.
And then about today's video... yes! The Gesso is the trick. It blocks the paint where you've used it and so you get a grabbie effect where it's not. I did something similar in the post about Jasons... with the squares.
I have always participated in the visual arts including watercolors, drawing and sketching, pen and ink, and photography. Since retiring from teaching I have devoted much of my time to watercolors, sometimes combining them with pen and ink or collage.
Watercolor is the perfect medium to capture the beauty that surrounds us. I love to travel, and sketch and paint wherever I go. Painting, especially on location, captures the spirit and life of the subject. I hope to continue doing that for a long time to come.
