Terra Cotta Roofs

I did this plein air painting in ink and watercolors in my moleskin notebook, so the painting is about 3 1/2 x 5. I was sitting in the parking lot of a Tuscan looking winery out on the North Fork of Long Island. When I finished I went inside for a sample and to hear the jazz band that was playing.

Wow! I thought you posted one of your Tuscany paintings. :-) A great painting, wine and music. What more could you ask!

This is beautiful, Joan. What a place to linger too!

Mickey - Thanks. The building really looks like it should be in Italy...the Raphael Winery.

Sherry - Thank you. It was very crowded and I had to ride around a bit to find a parking space with a good view.

Now THAT"S a way to paint!!! LOL What a fun time, Joan ... great job on the roof and building ... and the 'reward' sounds like a great time!
