Waterlily Pour

This was done with the same process like the camellia below. I had fun with the negative painting around the lily pads. If I had the room, I'd like to try one in a larger size. This is only about 7 x 10. It's so difficult to not drip paint on everything in the area while you tilt and tip and pour paint.

I like it... don't you just love the way the paints mingle on the wet paper...

Helen - Thanks. I love when they mingle, but I started another one yesterday and it looks stained. I think I'm going to toss it before I waste all the paint on it and start it over.

The colors on this are sensational.

Oh Joan! Another beauty!!! There's just a wonderful play of colors and abstraction here -- gorgeous work!!! I hope you're enjoying the process because the results are incredible!

Jo - Thank you. I had done this as an ATC previously and wanted to see how it would work as a pour.

Lin - Thanks. Pouring is fun. You are never quite sure what you will end up with.

Rose - Thanks. I haven't even transferred those photos to my computer. I've been busy lately.

I was sure that I commented on these (where did it go?). I really like the way the colors mixed for you - you got a couple of good results there - now try a bigger one. :-)
