Camellias

The other day I headed over to the Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay, NY. They have a building containing nothing but camellias, and they are in gorgeous bloom right now. I did this in my moleskin wc journal and it is 3.5 x 5.

This looks good, my camellias wouldn't be appearing for months...maybe I got the cheap ones...

Joan your work is amazing. I was just thinking about the Arboretum. Someone said there is no charge for parking in off season. That doesn't matter but I love your painting. I must get over there. Thank you for sharing. I just had a great reply from Dominique about Moleskine . I have to email you.

Ron - Thanks. These were in a greenhouse...and there were hundreds of them.

Joan - Thanks. You should get there while they are in bloom.

Mickey - Thanks. You would love the flowers in the camelia house.

Lin - Thanks. I enjoy it because it has a lot more than just trees, and there are indoor flowers too.

Sherry - Thank you. It was nice to be someplace that felt like spring.
